Hot new girl at work had a question

Hired a fairly attractive office clerk 8-9 years ago, and I was constantly standing over her mostly sighing and facepalming. The only thing going through my mind was, "Dear god, no human being can be this fucking stupid and still maintain a subconscious ability to breathe."

Worst part? I hired her not because she was attractive but because she had a better resume than every other candidate. Her references were excellent, she had double the work experience of my second choice, and had a degree in business. Of course I thought she'd be a distraction for my mostly male workforce but thought that since she wouldn't need any training it negated that risk (plus she worked in the other half of the office and my office was in the center and all glass so I could see everything). After spending 3 hours trying to get her to understand the most simple fucking spreadsheet, I knew she was not going to last. Fired her the second week on payday.

Got the feeling the only reason she ever kept a job was because her bosses wanted to hit on her/sleep with her and, honestly, I just needed someone to do general office work. Didn't make that mistake again. I called back my second choice, hired her, and kept her until I sold my company. She was an incredible worker and what she lacked in experience, she made up for in work ethic.

TL:DR; Being attractive may help one get a job, but it doesn't help keep one.
