Not happened to me this time but I have lost quite some BAT permanently in the past and Brave never provided a way to recover them that worked (it wasn't a display issue). It was just like 30 BAT or something but I have never seen them again (my computer just crashed one day as I was browsing Brave and for some inexplicable reason, when I restarted it, all my BAT have gone away). It may not sounds like a lot of money but it feels like working a full month at work and ending up at the end of month with your boss telling you that you won't get paid (people losing BATs because of Brave, even in cases of negligence from the user, could potentially be ruled as being illegal in some countries if you think about it). Reason why I have stopped using Brave for quite some time and being very careful these days about that kind of stuff.
