The house I am growing up in

I figured that they wouldn't been keen to having people in the house. I was thinking a teacher could come over between the time you're out of school and they're still at work (3-6 p.m. or whatever). But I guess you'd get in trouble for letting people in the house :(

Next time your uncle takes you to hockey practice, could you tell him what you told us? That the condition of the house is affecting your grades and your quality of life? That you're afraid for your safety and the safety of your pets? It saddens me that he hasn't said anything to anyone about this situation.

I want to commend you for reaching out for advice and for seeking help regarding your parents' situation. If anything, it shows how affected you are by this and that you're at your wits' end. This takes courage!
