I dont even remotely understand this thought process...

Multiple things can be done at once by multiple people, right? Maybe, you don't find this to be an important issue? If that's the case, maybe you can understand that there is a large portion of the US (and the world) that do see this as important. If there is even a remote possibility that the US president is compromised (or any of the other feasible issues) by a foreign power or foreign powers, R or D or L or I or any other, should that not be a priority? Or are you one of those people that buries their head in the sand if it's someone on your "team"?

The special council has turned up way too much in very close proximity to 45 for most Americans to tolerate. The vast majority of people understand the relationship between the likelyhood of seeing a fire when there is smoke. It's not always there, but boy is it frequently found together.
