I am really sorry this happened to you. Nobody deserves this. I won't give my opinion on if she was real or not. We can't know that either way. That's just the way it is with some things. Don't overthink or obsess about it. Just assume whichever feels best for you. To be honest, It would be better if you left this place while you are in this situation. This place is based on generalization. If you take the generalizations in this place serious it can fuck up your worldview. People here generalize a big amount of people just because a small sample size treated them badly. Just leave this place while you feel like this or there is a real chance of our logic infecting you, just because it has a merit of truth in it. What helps me is to distract myself until my shitty situation is in the past. Once it is far enough in the past I try to not obsess about it. I find something positive I can obsess and think about. Since what happened now is the present you gotta distract yourself. I just hope things get better and you find someone.
