[HOUSING] Moving to Phoenix Metro -- Apartments for mid 20's professional

Sometimes it's the small things. King Soopers is just Fry's here. Same thing. There's a place called Desert Donuts in North Phoenix. Stopping by there sometime is arguably as important as where you find to live. Trust me.

Housing is absolutely outrageous here right now, so it's a good thing you seem financially secure. After living in a cool renovated place built in the sixties, and a newer building myself, the only real advice is to find a newer building. From summer utilities, to pest control, the cost saving and convenience of newer is huge. It doesn't matter how "fun" an apartment is, $200 a month utility bills for a place you still can't keep comfortably cool and a full blown roach and scorpion infestation will quickly turn a fun place into a nightmare.
