(Housing) Tenant here. Landlord(s) possibly committing insurance/mortgage fraud; where does this leave me?

I've been homeless before, last January in fact. I know the harsh realities of life. I don't want to go back there. That's why I am so concerned that this all looks so dodgy.

I have PTSD and Borderline PD, and no support network. Sometimes I need to reach out to strangers to ask a serious question and "OMG STOP OPENENING DER POST U BAD MAN!!!" doesn't really help, and it's totally wrong - I have been given legal advice to open the post.

If it's the owners' post or previous 2 tenants I will open them because there's a chance it could be another warrant or even an eviction notice, otherwise I return to addressee. I shouldn't have to justify stupid shit like opening post with legal permission when the thread isn't even about that. It's derailing and I want useful info, like your post here.

Thanks for the info about declaring myself as legally homeless, I might have to go down this route as I don't think i'll be here much longer.
