Houston Police Department body camera program launched

As an aside, this is why u/Blue_Rhythmic_Eagle down there isn't really making a valid point-- because segregation was deeply, morally wrong. It's a completely different situation. For the record, I am for marijuana legalization.

You're absolutely right. I do not know what's best for my own body. I need an external force with an involuntary monopoly on violence to determine what's best for my own body ... nevermind that I have more education than all the cops in Houston combined. I was hired to kill men, women, and children,... (people I've never met in a distant state) of a foreign culture, that I would have otherwise not have any contact with... in order to procure the profits of oil & gas companies. I was trained in the art of murder, I was trained in the art of counter-intelligence, I was trained in the art of counter-insurgency, I was trained in the art of combat---I was trained to kill---not only preserve "liberty" and "freedom," but to preserve the violence apparatus of the State, the status quo.

Now this argument says that it is not morally wrong to make the smoking of marijuana illegal despite all the empirical and factual scientific evidence that marijuana is good for you. You cannot have freedom in this country. Freedom would destroy America.

We need the totalitarian State to determine what is right and wrong. We, as human beings are totally incapable of doing anything right for ourselves. The government never makes mistakes. The government is always right. Whether it's putting Japanese people in concentration camps, passing Jim Crow laws, exterminating Filipino people, exterminating Jews, exterminating Armenians, putting children in prison for posseion of Marijuana, nuking civilians, sterilizing the population, or dumping toxic chemicals in public waterways, or poisoning the public water supply, the government, just like the Catholic Church is infallible and never makes mistakes. We would all be better off just lubing up our own assholes to cut out the middle man. We should just fuck ourselves up our own asses and preserve precious tax dollars. by the way, I hope police start wearing flavored boots because I hate the taste of raw rubber.
