My old friend was just telling me the story of her insemination which resulted in twins. They found other half-siblings somehow. And one of them found the father. She said there’s probably 50 kids from his donation. She said they went to Florida and he turned out to be handsome and well off, and she fell for him but he was a player and paid her no attention. The kids got to meet the donors parents who knew nothing and wanted them to stay, to move there, but the donor guy was having none of it and now ignores them. So mostly a negative experience due to too high expectations; and the other half siblings stopped communicating too because they said they didn’t want to know, that they had families already.
