10/10 says that, once the public found out Obama was spying on Americans twice as often as Russians, the isps put on a troll face mask and said “be a real shame if someone were to throttle the NSAs internet speed right now. Real shame”

10/10 also says that, the government monitoring “2 billion simultaneous calls” used a lottttt of bandwidth. Which would make it enormously difficult to offer decent rates to the private sector. You don’t even need to believe they did it to protect their customers, throttling the NSAs connection speeds would have made providing internet access to citizens far easier than before.

Obama also did this kind of shit with oil. He spent his first term selling US oil reserves to US oil companies, bringing the US into the top three producers of oil worldwide. He then used environmentalism as an excuse the add a gas tax.
