how about we put away the whole "back in my day" BS please

It was factually BETTER than it is now.

Pay was Higher - Job was more concentrated (mostly just first class letters).

Vehicles were newer - Staffing was better bc everyone and their cat wanted to get into the USPS.

No Amazon delivery on Sundays. No Amazon Delivery on Holidays. Holidays for past RCAs/CCAs types were VOLUNTEER if it ever came to it.

---

Today: Pay is lower, working conditions worse, attitudes worse, City Routes getting Cut, Pension has been nerfed and getting close to just being KO'd, STEP PAY TABLES (same work different pay), Delivering all the unwanted heavy bulky Amazon, UPS, Fedex along with ever growing bulky NON PROFITS AND PRST STANDARDS - Box holders growing- Newspapers growing....

AND quite frankly TODAYS new RCAs/CCAs have *possibly* nothing to look forward to as the whole thing is TANKING. when Regulars say that it is the price to pay before you get the Career job... it's a bunch of Bull now.
