How to access lecture hall projectors?

You probably shouldn't but here are some tips (try at your own risk of getting caught)

While you normally do need fobs, if you have a phone with an IR sensor to act as a remote, you can turn some of the projectors on w/ a remote app (the Christie projectors have the same remotes as the Hitachi ones). Once the projector is on, everything is on 1 input, so you're stuck with the default, but good news is they keep the desktop in the podiums on, and is connected to the projector by default, so you can just login to the podium computer (the monitor will still be off since it needs the fob to turn on, so just look at the proj. screen to see what you're doing). Alternatively, find a room that doesn't need fobs. Eng7 has some high res projectors in the lecture halls and doesn't have fobs installed yet.

Again, I don't endorse any of the suggestions above. Try at your own risk.
