How do you actually survive if SHTF???

You defend what you have by whatever means necessary within the boundaries of your conscience. There are a lot of different scenarios. Gripping scenarios. Staying in your home is called bugging in, which is a common and suitable strategy in many scenarios. To bug out? Who knows where to. To family or friends if possible. If that's not possible and they've been dislocated too, then IDK... It would mean a big catastrophe, and there might be refugee centers and shelters set up by gov't. Ultimately, deep into the woods with a bunch of seeds and farming tools, and start over. It's a real messy strategy, especially if you're alone. You'll get to be your own dentist and doctor. Survivable, sure, but for how long. It's always about "how long", and quality of life. We're all on a timer in this world. Think how society evolved. Think how people lived in the past, how they sustained themselves.

You could move out and keep moving, but at some point you might get tired of being on the run, or maybe you'd have to make a stand. But also, someone who has kept a stand for a long time, might get tired of it, and will want to move. You do you. Secure a food source, water source, housing, entertainment...

Do you have any particular fears? Fear of food scarcity? Fear of being attacked?
