I mean I've never seen a fraternity, a normal church group, or hiking group reject someone for being white (except ethnic fraternities but they don't count), but what do I know, having been a part of all three.

I don't want in. Interesting how you have gone from pretending to propose a solution for these people, to trying to project it onto someone pointing out the flaw in your solution.

Diversity quotas just mean they have to let a certain amount of nonwhite people in, implying the majority of people they let in are generally still white.

It does not imply that. And if the majority of people are white, you can still hire mostly whites and be discriminating against whites. "Oh they hired a white guy so it is your own fault you can't get in which totally makes my solution of joining still viable and useful because reasons".
