How are ADHD people getting university degrees?

Also you don’t know what their support system looked like or how difficult their degree was for them.

My undergrad is in design and tech theatre. I had a scenic painting class where I just went to the shop on Fridays and painted for three hours. One week we’d learn bricks or rocks another might be landscapes. My other classes were costume design, sound design, theatre lit classes. And I was super interested in all of it, so it didn’t feel hard.

Then I later went to grad school for my #1 hyperfocus: reading fiction (i.e. a literature degree). So imagine your favorite hobbies and that’s basically what I did degrees in. There were moments where adhd stuff got in the way especially since I was undiagnosed (undiagnosed with BD2 also!) but this wasn’t me grinding though degrees that were incredibly challenging. The gen ed classes that I wasn’t interested in were harder than most of my degree combined.
