How are autistic people meant to survive?

I'm on the spectrum for autism myself and the simple answer is that we're not meant to survive. Interviews require having good social skills unfortunately. You have to make your interviewer like you in order to have the best chance of getting the job. And the simple fact of the matter is, is that most people do not like autistic people. I feel like I might get people arguing with me on this, but this is from personal experience. If I act like myself, people do not tend to like me, but if I put on an act, (act more neurotypical essentially) then people like me just fine. That's also how I got my current job, I had to put on an act. r/whoselinewasitanyway has some really good advice for trying to practice and achieve this, I honestly can't come up with better advice, just wanted to tell my experience.
