How are you feeling about Best Buy as an Employee?

I 100% agree with the OP that is how April 18 on was for me, it sucked and I was constantly exhausted like never before. But I have to say it's good now, especially with all of the call backs. Things feel back to "normal" I guess "new normal" finally, felt this way for the past few weeks.

Those still furloughed - there are a few hard working and dedicated employees that I feel like are getting shafted; they are hard workers, some were day one-ers, that haven't been brought back because ???xyz. I don't know, that sucks.

But the majority of the employees not back (well over half) at my store fall into two categories 1) those that should have been let go long ago, in my opinion, or at least been under some sort of PIP/Action Plan because they felt entitled, had a bad attitude, and failed to perform. So the store is running smoother than ever and I am not picking up their slack. 2) BBY was a PT gig and their availability SUCKED. Maybe the nicest people, great with customers, fun to work with, but just NEVER available. On both fronts, good riddance. As long as we are reduced hours, things are humming along, finally.

Your experience WILL differ. Every store and every role is different.
