I know i’m late to this, but this question has perfectly aligned with my need to vent. I’m really bummed. Halloween is my favorite time of year, and this is the LAST halloween for our year-round family owned costume store. I’m currently about to go in to pack it all away in boxes for internet sales just to get rid of it all. After forty long years of being in business, Covid was the last nail in our coffin. We just couldn’t keep it going anymore. Most of our customers were saddened by our decision but they all understood that it was time to put the beast down. But others! Good grief, the rudeness that oozed out of these people. It just made us want to close that much faster. The amount of theft we had was sickening. and everything was marked down to rock bottom prices anyway. I’m sad to see this part of my life wither away but i am excited for the future and what opportunities it holds. I love halloween but boy do i hate people.
