Remember that she is being hit on daily by guys and is dealing with drunks, so how you communicate makes the difference...because she is always going to have in the back of your head that you’re just trying to hook up with her.

I’ve dated a bunch of bartenders (weirdly enough) and have found success with just being yourself, not throwing them cheesy lines, and making them laugh. Understand that they’re at work so your time to talk is limited, so don’t over talk or give her a ridiculously high tip.

Just be a friendly and respectful, build some familiarity with each other, and see if she shows any interest back. If so, then you can discreetly ask her out (stop in for one drink when she is not busy to do it)
