How do Atheists cope with death?

Not a lot for me to cope with.

I don't know. I just don't see what all there is to be frightened of. You're not heading into anything new. I have more to fear from walking into a store I've never been in before than I do of death.

Death is just an end. It can be relieving or sad depending on what sort of life you're leaving behind, but I have to imagine that people that actually enjoy their lives probably don't spend all of it fretting over the curtain dropping.

Loved ones dying? Sure, that gets me. You lose that person, and you never get them back. You have to spend the rest of your life without them. That's understandably hard to cope with. My own death? Nah. It's going to happen, and no amount of worrying will change that.
