I had gum grafting on 4 teeth done yesterday. Right now, 21 hours after surgery, I have no significant pain (although will still take 800 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours, since it also helps with inflammation).

They gave me 800 mg of ibuprofen before starting surgery, I felt the needles, after surgery they gave me an ice pack for the car ride home, I continued to use ice for another 5 hours, then took another 800 of ibuprofen.

I didn’t feel any pain during surgery except for getting several needles, and that was minor pain. I could see blood on the doctor’s hands, so closing your eyes may be more relaxing if you don’t want to see that.
