How bad is Croix's redemption and how bad Chariot's forgiveness is.

Croix's redemption and Chariot's forgiveness of her was rather rushed, but I think it's important to remember that it was the last episodes of the series and with time running out and all, they kind of have to wrap it up rather quickly.

Even though it would have been more apt to have her redemption be one of the focuses of a second season entirely, where they can really delve into It more.

I feel like the problem with Croix is that the writers didn't really have a solid idea on what they wanted to do with her. They clearly intended her to be a big villain kinda character at the beginning, but then they suddenly shift gears last minute to make her more sympathetic and redeemable, when that was not the direction they were intending Croix to go at in the beginning.

Really, Croix and her overall arc is a symptom of what is arguably the series' biggest problem, which is it's inconsistent pacing and a lack of proper planning and focus.
