How do you beat drop back counter?

I don't feel any issue to be honest. I score easy 1-2 goals against any opponent with no problem. Key is to hold possesion and play right passes and wait for the right moment to shoot the right way. There is no way anyone can hold their shape perfectly for 90 minutes straight. They are bound to make some mistakes capitalise on them. Once you make something happen once or twice. Some good, close chances, it's normal to see everyone trying to hurry upto you to dispossess you. That is when you make right passes to keep the possession and play final balls right.

Key is to avoid playing counter against counter, as that will only make feel bad if you lose a goal to any counter attack against you. And you might make some mistakes you usually won't. Use whichever tactic you want. Just make sure you know what you're doing and you're doing the stuff right.

For example: i play with a 4-3-3, wingers running in, holding or poaching striker(depending on the situation, in case if you are overwhelmed by opposition midfield drop him deep otherwise let him run behind the opposition cbs), occasionally dropping in the midfield. 2 playmakers as cam and 1 deep-lying ball winner, with 2 cbs and my fullbacks makes overlapping or underlapping runs according to the opponents ( if i feel like they are allowing too much space on the flanks, i keep them overlapped otherwise i make them underlap to keep man advantage.

One of the most important things I'd say against any counter attacking team is that you make sure and stay tigh to attacker. Do not let him get any advantage on you. And make right tackles at right time.
