How do I become a Quebec resident?

Lemme tell you about my experience as a Quebec resident. I came here when I was 11. Throughout my high school years I had teachers, yes, teachers telling me “get out of your rice box and look at the world “ “it is so great that we do not have Asian student anymore in the orchestra” “Iranians are better than Asian people” “immigrants steal our jobs, pollute our air and destroy our culture”. I went to a public francophone high school and I can tell you how close-minded and arrogant some Quebecois could be. Then because I had a residency card, I am told that I need to respect the culture, that I need to respect the language, which I did, I am fluent in French. But for so many times I had people come at me in the streets yelling at me “eh on parle en français au Québec”. I wish I had more love and attachement to Quebec, a place that I lived for 11 years. But no sorry I can’t, because the people here do not let me to do so.
