I care in the sense that it's a joke Mitch Richmond is in the hall of fame for being far less effective with his one thing than Ben Wallace was with his one thing. Mitch being in the hall set the bar so incredibly low that we should just abolish it and start over. But, we're stuck with it, so Ben Wallace absolutely has to be in the hall if Mitch is.

Also, Shawn Kemp had half the All NBA nods Mitch had, but made as many All-Star Games, made two conference finals and one finals (and got three Finals MVP votes on a losing team because he was that good, and outplayed MJ), and was a much more iconic figure than Mitch.

Richmond was a volume scorer on bad to mediocre teams his whole career. That is his legacy. Apparently that is enough for the hall.
