How blunt should I be with tech recruiters?

When I'm contacted by recruiters I basically have a boilerplate message of things required and nice to haves before I even really want to hear about the rest of the position. This includes a $ amount they will have to beat. This weeds out a lot of noise within a message or two. Then, I'm able to follow-up and say here are my specific skills and what I'm looking for in future opportunities. This way they are less likely to pester me in the future unless they have something they know will be a great fit. Based on the recruiters I've have repeat interactions with (I was also a hiring manager for a while so I know a lot of recruiters), this strategy is appreciated as it saves everyone time.
