How to break the cycle of overthinking?

meditation will change your life! make it a habit of observing your thoughts instead of identifying with them. if you keep at it, meditation techniques and mantras will carry over and you will be able to stop overthinking. anxiety robs you of experience because you are thinking about the worst case scenarios of a situation that isn’t even happening to you! the moment you decide to focus on the present is the moment you will find peace.

the best advice i’ve come across is that if you are unhappy or uncertain or anything, you can only either change the situation or change your attitude about the situation. you are not your thoughts. you are not your anxiety. you’ve become attached to these ideas about yourself, all you have to do is detach from them. pay attention to your thought loops and adjust them away from negativity toward yourself and others, but never get mad at yourself for having negative thoughts, as that only feeds into the negativity. become content with the uncertainty, as rationally, life is ONLY uncertainty. therefore, anxiety is holding you back from doing and being your best. i believe in you!!!!!
