How can you continue to be a Christian despite all the errors and contradictions in the Bible?

The verses you mentioned above don't say anything about on his father's side.

Lineage and genealogy was always traced through the father's side.

What sources are those? I only care about the OT and NT, not other Jewish writings.

Then you're cherry picking.

You can't ignore other Jewish writings because they are inconvenient for your beliefs.

This objection also does not take into account Jeremiah 31 where God said that He would institute a new covenant that would not be like the old covenant that the Israelites had broken.

In Jeremiah 31:34, it says "And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord"

That has not happened. Even from this point-of-view, Jesus has not fulfilled this "prophecy."

2) The disciples believed that Jesus would return very soon (see: Matt. 10:23; 16:27-28; 24:33-34; Luke 21:22, 28, 31; Rev. 1:3; 22:10).

These verses refer to Jesus returning again and his Kingdom, not the destruction of Jerusalem. So, your reply doesn't address these verses.

That sentence looks like an exaggeration. In one place in the text, Jesus declared foods clean; I believe that Jesus was God and that He had authority to do so.

Declaring foods clean is a violation of the Torah.

That seems like a minor issue

How is that a minor issue? Any error in the Bible would cause problems because Christians have always taught that the Bible is the infallible word of god.

Yes, people can construct a synthesis that takes into account pretty much all the points of view.

Then do it.
