I completely agree with you, well I am still only 16 but being from a junior hockey town in the prairies I can definitely say that the most important thing for each club is to get involved in their local communities that how WHL teams survive in towns like Swift Current. To give a more specific example I'm from Brandon and people here care far more about the Wheat Kings than they do about the Jets despite the fact NHL is of far better quality than the WHL, people support the Wheaties because their the local team and I hope the CPL can have the same effect and instead of only watching the MLS and top leagues of Europe kids and people in general will turn out to support their local team.
