1) Then pls. check your configuration or interface. Something must be broken. I use Bitcoin Core as well and it shows completely different fees.

2) It works both ways and averages out. In addition a) A high fee is no guarantee that the transaction confirms in the next block. b) The next block can be one hour or more away.

3) I am not playing a beta tester here. I want a working product. A financial app should be thoroughly tested, otherwise it isn't secure. I feel highly uncomfortable using a Bitcoin wallet which crashes from time to time. I never made such experience with other wallets.

4) If I can't load the card for 3 months I will get charged.
