I completely understand your sentiment. As a Muslim, I can confidently say that ignorant clerics are THE biggest issue facing muslims today and that no one would like to live in a society where their values, morals, and way of live is threatened.

You and your children and your grandchildren deserve to live your life anyway you desire.

However consider this: You country colonises a country, invades them, places them in oppressive rule for 200 years, stops them from developing, destroys their resources and wealth. Your country bombs the shit out of another country. Destroys it. Leave it unliveable. Children do not have food on the table and medicines in hospitals. They are dying in their parents arms. Will any parent want that for their child? Will any parent want better for their child? Would anyone want to go to sleep knowing that their house could be bombed at night?

That question, the search for a better life, is what drives immigration. The best way to stop mass migration would be to stop colonising, stop bombing the Middle East, and letting these countries develop so that they people living their are not forced to leave.

They are humans too. They love their counties. They just want to live in peace, just like you. But life in their countries is soo bad.

I understand why it would be more appealing to say “ban them” or “kick them out” or “let them starve to death in their own shitholes” but that doesn’t deal with the core of the issue.
