How can we repair trust?

Not a woman, but i'm gonna take a stab.

There is no right answer to this question. If you realize you accidentally violated someone's personal space/values/autonomy through a misunderstanding,

  1. File that shit away so you are more cautious in the future.
  2. Decide if this person even wants to talk to you again.
  3. If you think they might, try an honest apology, but if you get ignored or told to fuck off and die pack it up and try it again with a new friendship.

If they feel like forgiving you, they can probably help you with the best way to repair that specific relationship.

TL;DR - Don't try to ask all women what would be the right thing to do so you "know" in advance, ask politely and tread lightly. Employing that tactic in daily life will probably keep you out of this sort of trouble in the first place.
