God chose me. I was not Christian growing up, and toward the end before my conversion became an idolater of 'eye of fate' (based off seeing three pyramids with the eye in the center during a sort of trance after smoking marijuana), and also hearing the phrase "omg" thought that god was similar to each individual's perception/reality. I first found the Bible as the "book of fate." It wasn't until actually opening and reading scripture that I realized Jesus to be the Son of God, and that no man had seen the Father at any time. So after coming to the realization that much of what I had been involved in was demonic, and after about a month of suffering/affliction I sought out a local baptist church and scheduled a meeting with the pastor. I confessed Jesus as Lord and was born again. It's real. Receiving the Holy Ghost felt similar to being filled with love, and it was incredible to actually be possessed by the Holy Ghost. Demonic oppression picked up after that but gradually dissipated. Prayer and reading of scripture is so vital and important. It is so important for us as believers to be sharing the gospel and walking in obedience to Christ. You have the Truth!! Stop doubting and having unbelief!! Start actively serving and obeying. It's not a religion but the church is the people whom Christ has redeemed by the gospel and now have a relationship with God.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
