You need to have a good discussion with her, and maybe she needs to have therapy, but here is my point :

If you want kids and she doesn't want kids, and neither of you is going to compromise in a way that won't hurt you down the road, then you need to move on and find another good person who wants to have kids.

Somebody might say you could just your mind, but if that leads to a life of resentment, then you didn't change your mind, you only masked it out of fear you won't find another person.

Likewise, if your wife has a kid and hates it, that could cause issues later on.

Obviously, she might have the kids and realize it was the best thing ever, and come around, but generally speaking, if a couple can't decide, this is a good reason for a break up.
