Yeah I’m gonna be very honest with you. Although I think case isn’t too too bad, this is definitely not the best place for you. Many people here can be racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc., more than a typical college campus. Students probably won’t be like openly transphobic to you but they also probably won’t go out of their way to talk to you at all. Not saying this is everyone but this is not a school where they are so openly accepting of everything. Overall, I feel like university students have a more conservative lean. Getting a single will be extremely hard but if you talk to housing maybe they can help you. Not going to say definitively don’t come here, or come here but it really depends on what you’re looking for. I also think it depends on your major. I had a friend freshman year who knew probably 50-75 people transfer out because of extreme racist/anti-lgbtq+ incidents.
