How Chronobreak Basically Works (TL;DR Included)

This might be true. Whatever the case, the rules being ambiguous itself is a bad thing. I will explain why.

Let's say in law there would be written rules as to which court decides a case and it sated the following: "Court A adjudicates all matters of criminal law. Court B adjudicates all murder cases."

Which court decides the case now? Maybe it's the more specific rule. Maybe the rule that is newer if the 2 rules are in 2 seperate scriptures.

Another example, this time in a contract: Let's say you rent a house with a garden from a landlord. In the contract it says that you are allowed to feed wild birds on your deck. It also says that you are not allowed to feed any birds on the premise. What is the valid clause now?

Even if there is an easy resolution to the problem, it would still be a good idea to change and specify the LEC's rules after encountering an ambiguity. For example, you could add a sentence to the end of 8.8.1 which states something like "8.14.1 stays untouched". This way, everyone who looks at the rules can see at first glance what the rules are and nobody is confused. In this case, Yamato seems to think that 8.8.1 is the rule to apply and not 8.14.1 (see his twitter). Even if he is wrong, these misconceptions can be avoided or prevented from happening again. But Riot probably won't do anything.
