on the flip side for all you who are gold capped, how did you become the top seller on your server? Do people msg u and tell u to stop posting so much etc?

I'm a little afraid folks will think this is too aggressive/unfair/whatever, but here goes. Haha. :)

I'm one of the 2 top sellers of enchants on my server. Myself and the other seller have an agreement to whitelist / never undercut one another. 90% of the time either of us are posting, we're matching each other's prices.

For the other folks, good luck, because I will do everything I can to discourage you:

1. If you're a member of the other faction, I will hunt you down and kill you and/or all the people in your auction house (my main is ~710 ilevel). I will hunt down members of your guild and tell them why I'm doing it. I play on a PVP server.
2. I will craft 20 of each enchant and post singles, undercutting you the second you post until you decide to log off. I can post singles over and over much faster than you can post/cancel/re-post.
3. I will bait you into a back-and-forth where you try to undercut me and post something way underpriced after a few rounds, immediately buying up and canceling everything you post below that price.
4. I will buy all the materials on the AH up to some ridiculous price (I keep about 2,000 temporal crystals on hand at any given time)
5. I will go full-on nuclear mode, posting things at my lowest possible cost on the very likely bet that my mat costs are much lower than yours. I can still make 200g per enchant posting at a price that would likely net you next to nothing.
6. If you have a bid lower than my min posting price I'll bid on it immediately, making it impossible for you to cancel.
7. I will find your alts — I have my methods — and will make sure to post just after you log off for the last time at night. I'm on the West Cost so that's later than most of the players on my (US) realm.

Basically, I will do everything in my power to make posting enchants so un-fun for you that you go elsewhere. It doesn't take that much time to do the above, but you have to reallllllly want to do it.
