How to convince parents that their son probably needs help?

I am sorry English is not my main language, can you tell me what GP stands for? But this is great advise, your insight is really helpful. Although I probably can’t convince the parents into talking with anyone I will do it. I don’t believe he is a danger to himself I never saw him acting strange but I do believe he has (like you said) some bad anxiety or social anxiety. You seem to have a very wise father he saw that the first approach wasn’t working and changed (better than most) and he gave me a great idea. I used to do karate but stopped over 10 years ago I will do like your dad and say that I need company to start doing that again. Learning some martial arts and discipline could help him gaining more confidence. In time if he gets more confident good but if he’s still struggling at that time I will try to talk about a psychologist or something. Really appreciated your insight it was really helpful. Would give an award if I had one
