How could I persuade my father to let me get a waist training corset?

Obviously you can take whatever advise you want on talking to your dad, but based on your situation you should probably wait until your 18 and legally an adult. Look at it this way: if this were a tattoo rather than a corset, would you still insist on doing it after your dad said he wouldn't give you permission? Or would you just hold out for that little bit of extra time where you could do it without needing the say of anybody else? Personally I'm more a fan of not having to convince others that what I want is right, but that's a personal trait that could be very different for you.

And, not to sound rude or anything, but genuinely curious, what is your definition of young? In a few years, say, 3 years for example, you'll be 19 or so. That's still young, even if it doesn't seem like it now (or maybe I'm just old, eh.).

Anyway, good luck on talking to him. It can be a pain trying to explain to people that waist training and tight lacing aren't as dangerous as they think, so just make sure you're ready to discuss all of his concerns or reasons for potentially saying no.
