How do I date now that I've been diagnosed with hpv?

I found out I had HPV about 5 years ago and felt very similar. All of a sudden I felt doomed and damaged and like sex was now this dirty embarrassing thing. I was especially mad because I actually had gotten the vaccine and I thought that meant I would always be in the clear. Luckily my BF (we are still together) was totally understanding and sympathetic, we actually don't even know who brought it to the relationship, me or him, but we didn't really care. My doctor told me that it could go away on its own if I took steps to keep myself healthy and my immune system strong. I quit smoking and started eating better, and I don't know if that actually helped or not, but every pap smear I've had in the past 3 years has come back totally normal, and I even have a totally normal healthy little baby.

You're definitely not doomed at all, there are TONS of people in your position. I would just recommend 200% honesty with your partners, use protection, take good care of yourself, and stay up to date on your doctor visits! :-)
