How to delete your Fitbit data before Google takes charge - You can remove your info, but it may take up to 90 days

First, There’s always ways around advertising. My web browser has a plugin to block out ads from nearly every source, including Youtube. I never see ads. Everyone is welcome to use these tools.

Second, Data collection is great for apps like a digital map. The more data it has, the better it can help me find what I might be looking for. That’s just one example.

There are or could be other companies out there that could make technology to thwart spying and the ultimate rise of totalitarian regimes by making apps that produce garbage fake data to spit back out to those watching. Over saturate the market with useless data and companies will rethink the use of data in certain ways that don’t benefit users.

I guess my point is that our time is better spent innovating for a better future than letting fear keep us from moving forward.
