The core was that antis accused BTS of plagiarizing the photo concept of older musicians (the concept of running through a grassy field). On the night of their Epilogue concert, antis trended #1 on Twitter with a hashtag that translates to "plagiarism boys" so that when BTS excitedly checked Twitter after they performed, it was the first thing they saw.

I wasn't an ARMY at that time but these things happened repeatedly, so I experienced it in other ways. In December 2016, antis trended something against Taehyung, and basically I was up all night tweeting the BTS-love hashtag as much as I could, crying and praying Taehyung wouldn't check his phone.

But antis also trended something as recent as last month, but it hardly fazed us anymore because we easily trended something positive back. So it's nothing to worry about anymore, now that ARMY has grown so powerful.
