How did you become successful after failing in so many aspect of your life in your 20s?

You've already figured out where you see yourself as deficient. I would create an itemized, prioritized list laying out where you are and where you want to be. List problems, causes and potential solutions. Come up with a plan to rectify problems and apply solutions to bring you closer to where you want to be. Divide that further into an action plan of BABY STEPS that you can handle bit by bit. Stick to it! Let's say your initial plan is study for an extra hour every day, read 30 minutes of Dale Carnegie every day, spark up a conversation with at least one stranger every day, call up a friend or relative just for a quick chat. Do that and log it. Track your progress. Revise your action plans and goals as needed. Sometimes you will fail, but if you keep at it, you will still be on a path of personal growth. You are going to have to deal with problems, shortcomings, and failures for the rest of your life. Maybe my way of going about problem solving isn't right for you at all, but the point is for you to develop the tools necessary, whatever they may be, to work through problems the problems you have now that you can continue to utilize into the future. It's not easy. I'm still trying to work my way out of a rut that started 8-10 years ago, but I'm making progress.
