How did Giant-Bomb fall to the SJW's?

I was a Giant Bomb fan,

Heck I was a subscribed member at one point (I have the T-shirt to prove it, which I still wear with pride). I now have a banned forum account

Giantbomb dissolved when 3 things happened 1.) They moved to San Francisco 2.) They Hired Patrick Klepeck 3.) Ryan's Death

It has been a slow progression, but allow me to explain

Initially (particularly after the Kane and Lynch Controversy) they were just about games and no BS.

They were very clear about their own bias's and made a point about reviews being their opinions. They were also a lot of fun and avoided SJW issues.

Queue the Move to San Francisco in 2010, I noticed that Jeff had started to be more critical of games that didn't fit the SJW narrative.

Then they hired Patrick Klepek,

Patrick began pushing games that had SJW agenda's and other things like that. The culture started to change.

Of course Patrick was always under control, until the Death of Ryan. From there he managed to have a louder voice and started pushing his SJW agenda by promoting Anita's videos uncritically.

He also stated pushing Zoe Quinn's games and supporting her victimhood narrative.

At the same time that Patrick game on board the forums started to change (almost as if they were instructed). They stated they were against toxicity in the webpage, but it became very clear that they were only against a certain type of toxicity.

For example I wrote this article, http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/general-discussion-30/klepek-vs-males-1446760/ (ignore the bad grammar I can't change it now) In response to games being against females only.

I generally got three types of responses 1.) This is interesting or great 2.) I disagree (without reason) this is stupid 3.) F#@$ You, Please moderators lock this silly post

Instead of the moderators deleting and banning people who were actually toxic (number 3). They locked the thread disabling discussion.

When I asked about it I was told the thread had outlived any usefulness.

Fast forward a bit, Zoe Quinn was given a developer spot and asked to do a top ten. One user asked "What has she done to deserve a top ten?" I answered "She is a damsel in distress and Klepek feels to rescue her as a white knight of feminism"

That resulted in my account being temporarily banned, as it got downvoted.

I queried the moderators and asked about possible brigading. They then decided to permi ban me for questioning them.

It has been a slow process on Giant Bomb and it is sad

R.I.P Giant Bomb
