How did you meet your cat?

My friend was giving up a litter for adoption so I went over a few times to play with the kittens.

There were two left for adoption and I picked this playful little gray one with black stripes.

My little guy didn't want much to do with me since he had all of his siblings to play with at the time and when I picked him up later to take him home he cried the whole way home. I tried to reassure him during the drive and was afraid he wouldn't feel comfortable.

As soon as I got home I opened his crate and he crawled out and played for a bit. Then he sat right on my lap, started purring and fell asleep there. I've had him for 11 months now and he is just the sweetest thing!

He loves to lick and be near me and I usually wake up with him cuddled next to my leg in the morning. He changed colors and is now brown with black stripes and a white underside and white mittens on his paws.

So I think it worked out and I don't know what I'd do without him. :)
