College. Freshman year. Hated him at first. He was the older brother of one of my good friends. He helped me out at a party once - some drunk guy was trying to kiss me and here comes my husband (who was barely even an acquaintance yet) and wrestled the dude off me. From then on, we became friends. Which turned to best friends. Which eventually turned to him kissing me and confessing he had feelings for me and had for awhile. Fast forward almost 10 years and here we are! Two kids and still stupidly, madly in love with one another. We got married after maybe 7 months of dating because we just couldn’t stand the wait any longer. Super sappy.

Best part is… my friend, who’s the sister of my husband, is my sister in law and I get to hang out and see my best friend almost all the time. Bonus!!
