How did you meet your significant other and were you polar opposites or complementary?

I love telling people my story just cause I find it funny now.

But it is long so here's the TL;DR: Met in high school, tried to hook up with me and my friend, we both left him but I eventually went back and is now married with a daughter.

We met in high school thru one of my friend. One day my friend and I were walking across a football field because our classes were outdoors (no idea why since one was fench and the other was creative writing). She suddenly tells me,

"There are only two boys in my class."

Points to a guy

"One is hot and the other isn't. Which one do you think he is?"

I look and immediately say "Hot!" and I was right. She started to talk to him so we all became friends. Eventually me and him hung out one day alone and we kissed. I told my friend and found out he had apparently also kissed her the day before he kissed me.

He was trying to play both of us.

We confronted him, gave him hell and left.

Didn't talk to him for about a couple months. He accidentally texted me (back when forwarding a message was cool) and since i deleted his number I didn't know who it was. He tricked me saying he was some "blonde hair blue eye 16 yr old."

It took me a couple weeks before finding out it was really him. We got together, clicked and got married. I'm currently laying down to our first born girl while he's out working.
