It was bad but also wtf was Weddle doing? As soon as the ball was snapped he looked to his right and saw the route combination between 84 & 17. It was clear almost instantly AB was coming underneath on the crossing route on an attempted pick play. The inside receiver was passed off perfectly. Weddle looks at AB, hesitates, stands there, and doesn’t pursue the ball until it’s caught.

Just weird seeing him hesitate like that. If he doesn’t hesitate, he either picks that off and takes it to the house for 6, or he gets there right before the ball is caught and makes a play on it/makes the tackle inbounds. A play like this makes me miss Ed so much cause if that was Ed, that’s 6 every time.
