How did you get through your long depressive years?

Still in the going on a decade. This may be unpopular but you can't blame everything on depression some people were just screwed in life. Take me for example. Did well in school, kind, follow the law, eat well go to the gym result? Never had a girlfriend, no social life/friends, no career can't even make enough to live alone, terrible family who do not recognize and actively try to make me suffer. I have no love for life and really really wish I had the courage to jump off that bridge. No therapy isnt going to fix my life. A time machine maybe and luck could. I'm rightfully depressed and nihilistic so no one can say it's the depression just get out of it. For 99% of people who are depressed, get some exercise, go to bed earlier and be thankful for your job, wife, friends, loving family, skills etc.
