How did your parents react to your boyfriend/girlfriend from a different race and you saying you want to marry them?

He isn’t an “islamophobe” every Hindu isn’t an “Islamophobe” he doesn’t believe that a Muslim girl would understand our culture and adapt to it, he doesn’t want them wiped from the planet, he has never taught us to look down upon them, but the fact is that certain (of not all) Hindu traditions are considered Haram in their religion, could he expect his future Muslim daughter in law to be responsible for the Pooja at home, could he expect our traditions and religious values to be passed down to our future children the same way they were passed on to us by our ancestors? I think not. As a Buddhist however my wife understands our traditions and religions values well and I understand hers. It’s more compatible and acceptable to both parties.
